Well seems  we are already entering highspped conections everywhere.. so it’s becoming a common things, that connecting to internet everywhere we go. Mac Intel is getting more well known recently, since it’s first launch in May 16, 2006 with Mac Book series (intel processor), replacing The Ibook G4 Series (Power PC processesor). Why Macbook become a booming that time? it’s all because of the Macbook is multi OS Platform enable. It means you still can install windows and other os inside macbook. You can run the os /switch it when booting. It’s becoming a great opportunity for any 3rd party software developer to create products that can support both mac osx and windows.  One them is known as Parallels. Parallels is the first application that can run window inside mac.  This products launched only weeks after macbook has been launched, and become a world premiere in drag and drop between OS  :P 

You can run any windows application, game and others with parallels.

Gibbs Technologies Ltd, the world’s only High Speed Amphibian (HSA) technology specialist, today unveiled a prototype of the first commercially viable high-speed amphibian Quadbike/All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) - Quadski.

Quadski is the third demonstration of Gibbs’ HSA technology following the successes of the Aquada and the Humdinga. It is capable of travelling up to 50 mph (72 kph) on land and water and makes the transition at the flick of a switch.

Commenting on the launch of the Quadski prototype, Alan Gibbs, the founder of UK based Gibbs Technologies Ltd. said, “Quadski is both exciting and practical with a multitude of uses”.

“I know consumers will love the fun of driving a Quadski on land one minute and then head straight into the sea or river the next. But there is a very serious side to Quadski as well: emergency services and aid workers will be able to reach areas and people no two or four wheel drive vehicle could reach.”

Well, it must be very interesting to pay coca cola can or newspaper in ATM (Automatic Vending Machine) , with your handphone ? ?….
It happens in London. Earlier this year O2 began trials of mobile phone based NFC (Near Field Communication) which if you’re unaware, is the same technology used by the London-based Oyster cards that allows you to pay for things by waving a device in front of a scanner.

Declaring the trial a success, O2 said 90% of trialists were happy with the wireless payment tech, while 78% would use more contactless services if they were available.

Seems I heard that one big GSM Provider company in Indonesia has dalready made a trial to do that, but no further info about the projects it self.

But Anyway This system has been in use in Japan for a number of years now. They even use it to pay for food and drink from vending machines. … LOL Should we learn form them?
